What we collect

When you ask a question we collect: your name, your email (required, for verification and to reply), your phone number if you choose to give it, and the text of your question. We also record the two-letter country code of your connection (such as YE or US) provided by the Cloudflare network, to help the answering agent understand your situation. We do not record your IP address or precise location. Browsing the site requires no sign-in and collects nothing.

Why we collect it

To answer your question, notify you of the reply, and let you follow its status. We do not sell your data or share it with any commercial third party.

Cookies

We use a single necessary cookie to keep you signed in to your questions dashboard. We use no tracking or advertising cookies.

Public publication

We may publish your question and its answer on the site for the benefit of other travellers, after manual review and removal of your name, email, phone and any identifying details. You may ask us not to publish, or to remove what has been published, at any time.

Retention

Unpublished questions are deleted 24 months after they are asked. Published ones are detached from the asker's record after the same period. Verification codes are deleted within two days and abuse-prevention logs within seven days.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, and you may withdraw consent, at any time. Contact us on the number in the footer and we will respond within 30 days. If you reside in the EU or UK you have the full rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

Important

Do not send us your passport number, bank card number or any sensitive data through this site. If we need such information we will request it through a secure channel.
